The 3M 50591 Paint preparation pads are a foam-backed abrasive pad specifically designed to abrade and prepare body panels for application of basecoat and lacquer. They may also be used for keying alloy wheels and bumpers before refinishing. The foam backing ensures a firm grip and the abrasive action is consistent to ensure an even perfectly prepared finish.
